EPL Player and Manager of the Month

Claudio Raineri and Harry Kane have both been named manager and player of the month respectively.
Raineri, manager of the high flying Leicester City has guided his team to a series of 1-0 victories over the likes of Watford, Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Southampton, that has seen the foxes maintain a comfortable 7 point lead at the top of the premier league.
A well deserved award for the gaffer.

Kane, the EPL's top goal scorer at the moment, has been in top form, banging lots of goals and has helped Tottenham maintain 2nd position on the log, well deserved as well.

Kenya threatens to pull out of Rio Olympic games due to Zika Virus concern


Kenya could pull out of this year's Rio Olympics due to concerns over the Zika virus outbreak in Brazil, the head of Kenya's Olympics committee said on Tuesday.
Kenya boasts some of the best middle and long-distance runners in the world and the East African nation topped the medals table at the 2015 World athletics championships.
"Obviously, we are not going to risk taking Kenyans there if this Zika Virus reaches epidemic levels," Kipchoge Keino told Reuters.
Meanwhile the United States Olympic Committee told U.S. sports federations that athletes and staff concerned for their health over the Zika virus should consider not going to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games in August.

Kanu listed among world legends


Nwankwo Kanu has been named among the top 48 legends of football worldwide by the IFFHS (The International Federation of Football History and Statistics).

The first set of names on the list includes Brazilian greats Pele and Ronaldo da Lima. Other Africans on the list include former World player of the year  George Oppong Weah, Roger Milla, Rabah Medjer, Muhammed Aboutrika, Mohmud El-Khatub and former Bafana Bafana captain Lucas Radebe.
